AltAnnouncer is something that have generated a lot of emails and contacts after it’s release. It was meant to be a simple and short thing for a specific purpose but was very quickly taken into broader use. I finally got added the function always everyone wanted, announcement also on the way down.
New feature – Announcement coming down?
There is now a new option “Announce down”:
This new option works in multiway fashion. Let’s take a flight where we start at 0 meter, fly up to 500 meters, then come down to 300 meters, go up to 700 and then land.
So, the flight is 0 -> 500 -> 300 -> 700 -> 0
If the “Announce Down”-option is disabled we will get following announcements:
100, 200, 300, 400, 500 and then pause until we fly up to 600, 700.
if the “Announce Down”-option is enabled we would get announcements:
100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 400, 500, 600, 700, 600, 500, 400, 300, 200, 100.
