I just made the proof-of-concept how-to for Jeti Vibrator a few days ago, and as usual there’s room for improvement.
More versatility!
As it often happens a user on Helifreak-forum suggested more functions, some of them was a bit over my car-mechanic brains as usual but there was something I could do.
User selectable vibrations
It is now possible to choose between motor off, motor on and 8 different patterns.
- Channel -100% = Motor OFF
- Channel -70% = Motor ON
- Channel -50% = Pattern 1 (Slow)
- Channel -30% = Pattern 2
- Channel -10% = Pattern 3
- Channel 10% = Pattern 4
- Channel 30% = Pattern 5
- Channel 50% = Pattern 6
- Channel 70% = Pattern 7
- Channel 90% = Pattern 8 (Fast)
There is a theoretical possibility to make even more, however the reading of PPM-signal might vary a bit, so I made a “safe bet” with these values. The actual PPM-value limits are big enough to make it reliable.
The code
The always updated code and sketch is available on Github: https://github.com/RC-Thoughts/Jeti_Vibe
What’s next?
Easy. Custom made box for proprietary unit with own code, plug’n’play. No soldering, coding, arduino etc required. Available sometime :)
